Typography is the craft of endowing human language with a durable visual form. In Birds of Paradise, every character responds to the delicate balance of pen pressure, drawing the viewer’s eye across fluid swashes and intricate ligatures.
In the free personal-use version, every digit is replaced by the Herofonts logo. If you need numbers (dates, house numbers), set them in a second font or ask Herofonts about the full version.

Notes on Visual Hierarchy
As the samples show, Birds of Paradise looks best big: a headline, a name, a single word. For anything longer, set the details in a plain sans-serif like Plus Jakarta Sans or a serif like Cormorant Garamond. Our pairing guide has examples.
