Tips for Typesetting Birds of Paradise
Optimal Point Sizes
For best rendering, set Birds of Paradise between 32px and 96px. Fine entry strokes may drop out at sizes below 20px on low-DPI displays.
Kerning & Letter Spacing
Avoid wide positive letter-spacing (tracking). Cursive script letters are engineered to connect smoothly; excessive tracking breaks the cursive baseline links.
Line Spacing
Because capital flourishes and ascenders loop generously, set line-height (leading) to 1.3 or higher when breaking text across multiple lines to prevent collisions.
